Fossibot F2400 Power station tested on HAM radio bands, it has some EMC issues unfortunately.

A simple EMC test with FOSSIBOT F2400 portable power station 2048Wh.

This Powerstation is rechargeable with Solar panel or mains power or 12V car connection.
it has LiFePO4 battery for longer life time, 3 x230Volt / 2400W output(4800W peak) AC connection,
and a 12V 10AMP (cigarette car plug) or 25AMP with X60 connector.

I did a quick simple EMC test with my HAM radio transceiver (on it's own independant powersupply) for checking the QRM when using a load on the 230V outlets of the Fossibot Powerstation.
(because i had bad experience in the past with a Bluetti Power station with EMC issues)
I connected a Hot Airgun of 2KW to the 230V AC socket as a load.

As you can see later in this video at the waterfall and the S-signal raises til S9+
But strange enough on HAM Bands below 18Mhz there is almost no QRM when using a load on the 230V sockets!
(BTW, it is not shown in the video, but 50Mhz is also involved with QRM, but VHF or higher is no problem.)

Therefor i tested the EMC filter that is described on GM3SEK's Technical Blog and that gave very good results. (it is connected between the AC outlets of Fossibot F2400 and the Hot air gun with 2 KW load) i will mention the link for the filter in de description of my YouTube channel.

I contacted Fossibot about the EMC issues but they reacted simply they couldn't test it, and that was it ;-(.

But further the Powerstation seems to work fine, shame that they have the EMC issues for us HAM operators.

(the total cost is aprox 80 EUR if you have to buy everything new, but If it works I think it is worth it. ;-)

REMARK : the transceiver was connected to a Discone antenna ;-). which works fine here from 20M till 6M . (on most bands with help of the tuner) The antenna is located right above my shack,. my End Fed antenna is not working at the moment, I couldn't try it with that unfortunately.
