Control/Regulate Soft Palate. What, When, How?

Lengthy but elaborated discussion on recognizing the soft and hard palate, and to learn about controlling the lift on the soft palate for singing. In this video, I take the professional advice from Ms. Victoria, who has been teaching voice for 40+ years. This knowledge was referenced from her ‘Victoria’s Victorious Vocal Tips’ Content and in this one she explains whether or not the soft palate is lifted for certain voice styles, when to lift, and how to lift. I’m between pausing the video I incorporate my personal understanding to control the soft palate. Later on I demonstrate the look of lifting it with a wide open mouth then support the claim learned by Ms. Victoria to keep it lifted.
