Big Renovation is coming | Before PSL Season 11 | Renovation Of Iqbal Stadium Faisalabad

Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad is getting a massive makeover! 🏏 The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially confirmed that this historic venue will host Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches for the first time in the upcoming season.
The PCB is set to invest nearly 6 billion PKR (approx. $21 million USD) to upgrade Iqbal Stadium, along with other stadiums in Multan and Hyderabad, to meet international standards. This major infrastructure project is part of a broader push to expand the PSL and bring top-tier cricket to more cities across Pakistan.
Iqbal Stadium, which has a current seating capacity of around 17,000, recently hosted a successful ODI series against South Africa in November 2025 after a 17-year hiatus, proving its capability to draw large, enthusiastic crowds. The ongoing renovations will focus on:
Upgraded Facilities: Enhancements to the media box and commentary box are already underway.
Modern Infrastructure: Plans include improving dressing rooms, seating, and the pitch itself to match global standards.
Future Proofing: The upgrades aim to enable Faisalabad to host future bilateral international series and potentially a new PSL franchise.
