Raimey was born with a complex congenital heart condition called Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome, also known as a Single Ventricle Heart.
She had the Glenn open heart surgery when she was 2 years old and the Fontan open heart surgery when she was 4 years old.
She has had numerous surgeries and procedures having lived with the Fontan for 10+ years. Here we decided to share our best tips for navigating school life and the accommodations that have tremendously helped her.
