Don Owen's legendary NWA Pacific Northwest promotion ended their extraordinary run on KPTV Channel 12 on 12/28/1991. This is the final televised show in Portland Wrestling history and marks the end of the Owen Family's 65 years promoting the oldest and most natural sport on Earth — professional wrestling.
Portland Wrestling was the launching pad for countless legends of professional wrestling and WWE Hall of Fame inductees, including Gorgeous George, Pat Patterson, The Destroyer, Mad Dog Vachon, Luther Lindsay, Shag Thomas, Lonnie Mayne, Jimmy Snuka, Jesse Ventura, Iron Sheik, Bull Ramos, Roddy Piper, Buddy Rose, Col.
