Rare footage of the short-lived tourist railroad that operated on 22 miles of the Wheeling & Lake Erie Carrollton and Minerva Branches between the two namesake towns in Eastern Ohio. Apparently, the RS3 was originally Delaware & Hudson, and also spent time on the Vermont Railway, Indiana Hi-Rail, and Spencerville & Elgin.
Ordinarily, I wouldn't bother posting something like this, but the Carrollton Branch is one of my favorite lines in this area, plus the tracks in downtown Carrollton -- while still in place in late 2025 - are unused.
