Twitter Bots: Combining Linguistics & Computer Science | Jenny Han & David Shacklette @ EdFest 2022

In this workshop we will present a project that combines linguistics, computer science, and Twitter bots on Replit! David and Jenny are former members of the Symbolic Systems teaching team at Stanford University and will reflect on how they designed this assignment that uses beginner-friendly coding tools to enrich their students' understanding of language and make computer science personally meaningful for everyone. By the end of the workshop, the audience will leave with new ideas for applying computer science to explore interdisciplinary topics. Everyone is welcome; no coding experience required.
