This 5 minute video is from two recreational scooter dives where we recorded where there are kelp forests and where there are none at Point Lobos, CA. Point Lobos is considered one of the jewels of the California State Park System. It is also one of the best dive sites in the state. However, like most of the state its kelp forests have declined. It is still a pretty place to dive though.
