"Gaaner Oparey" is a Bengali television serial that aired on Star Jalsha from 2010 to 2011. It was a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore on his 150th birth anniversary, and featured a musical drama format. The serial, which translates to "On the Other Side of Song," depicted the love story between a bohemian boy Gora played by Arjun Chakraborty and a traditional girl Pupe played by Mimi Chakraborty against the backdrop of Tagore's songs. It became a popular show, even outside of Bengal, and was produced by Ideas Creations, Prosenjit Chatterjee's production house.
This jukebox features songs from the show featuring artists like Samantak Sinha, Sharmistha Paul.
