Multiclass League Season 3 Sponsored by VRS - Round 3 - Long Beach

Tonight marks Round 3 of the UKSimRacing Multiclass League Season 3 as hosted on iRacing and sponsored by VRS. We shall be taking a look back at all of the racing action which occurred on Sunday 13th April, bringing it to you as if it were live!

This week our drivers make their way to the USA to roar around the streets of Long Beach. Standing as the longest-running street circuit in the country, this 1.96 mile course’s narrow width and close walls shall make even the slightest of mistakes highly punishing!

In the GTP class, a dominant drive from Patrik Thomsen at Fuji means his lead now stands at seven points over the consistent Thomas Cope. Can Thomsen’s run of form continue, or will the tricky turns of tonight’s venue serve to tighten the gap to the leader?

In the LMP2 class, with third place last week, Øystein Herfjord has maintained his lead with six points separating him from James Ibram. Ibram showcased superb strategy in Japan to take victory, could he do so again tonight to close the gap to Herfjord?

In the GT3 PRO class, Si Anthony and Kasper Brøckner jointly sit at the top following the latter’s incredible performance last round. Jack Barker sits a point behind and is yet to take a win. Which of the trio shall top the standings after tonight?

In the GT3 AM class, Rob Windsor may have missed out on victory at Fuji, but his second place finish has moved him eight points clear of James Foster. Windsor’s consistency is starting to pay off, but he will take nothing for granted tonight given the pace of his rivals!
