Torso S-4 Explorations #01 - feat. SOMA RoAT [No Talking] [Live Performance]

I am going back to the Torso S-4 sculpting sampler after a long hiatus, waiting for the v.2 features. The new firmware is finally here, and I am now looking forward to spending some time exploring the possibilities offered by this unique device.

In this video, I use the S-4 in combination with one of my favorite synths, the Rumble of Ancient Times (RoAT) by SOMA Laboratory. I first record the RoAT to create a drone on one track, then open another track for live input. Later, I also incorporate a drum loop and a melodic sample to the other two tracks (the S-4 has four of them). This is a long, exploratory session: feel free to use the chapters to skip around if things are moving too slowly!
