Andranik Avetisyan is the founder of unique art works made of real cobwebs. The main subjects of his artworks are life, human relations, energy, space, beginning, neural network, life, death and etc. However Avetisyan understood that traditional materials insufficient to fully realize his ideas and he started looking for another material. He noticed the cobweb in the corner of the window in his studio. After searching such works on the Internet he didn't find any. If there were, he wouldn't have started making art works made of cobweb because repetition is not his. Then he began studying the life of the spiders and the structure of their cobweb. Afterwards he took spiders from nature, brought them to his studio, kept them in his studio and began his experiments. Two years later, the first artwork was made.In 2017 he took part in international contemporary art exhibition in Cannes, France and won the “New Talent and the Most Creative Idea” prize. He opened his private "Cobweb Art Gallery"in 2015, in the Republic of Armenia, Gyumri where are exhibited his artworks which are made of real cobweb.
