The Synergy in the differences is based on multidisciplinary science and technology development where the risk of failure is share in a differential way according to each one´s role. However, at the end, failure is never conceived as something negative but as a way of building up together.
Johann F. Osma is an electronic Engineer with MSc. in microelectronics from University of los Andes (Colombia). He started his research career at the Microelectronics Research Center – CMUA- of the same university in 2001 under the field of micro and nanotechnologies. Later, he continued his academic formation with a MSc. and PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineer at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain) in the field of bio-nanotechnology. Since 2010 he joined the University of los Andes as faculty staff, where he started the research field on biosensors and microfluidic systems and manages a clean-room specialized on those topics. He has published multiple articles, book chapters, books, and works as a frequent reviewer and member of editorial boards of some journals.
