Giving back to the community that our founder grew up in is Essential to us. Every child deserves to start the new school year with new supplies and essential hair grooming products that will have them walking into the classroom with confidence. We were so happy to participate in the back to school event with @christiancompassion1 & @ChildrensHospPhila so that we could provide children within the West Philadelphia Community to make them smile and ease a bit of stress from their parents.
We were able to give away over $1000 worth of school supplies and the value of $3,000 worth of Dosso Beauty hypoallergenic braiding hair and organic hair care products. On behalf of Dosso Beauty, we want to express our gratitude and upmost respect to our community that continues to breed tenacious young people who turn into community leaders and heroes.
Sankofa, a key Twi term which means to reach back while climbing forward.
