The Red KOMODO Can't Do This! || Z Cam E2 Series 0.98 Firmware: 6K 48fps Prores Test

With the Red Komodo being released recently, the team at Z Cam have responded with the 0.98 firmware update which adds 6K Prores at 48fps.

This is insane coming from such a tiny little cinema camera and this is one area where the Z-Cam has the Komodo beat.

Don't get me wrong, the Komodo is great and .R3d is an awesome feature that no other manufacturer has really been able to compete with, but it also needs to be pointed out that Z-Cam have actually released a FREE firmware update which improves the camera for all the current owners of their E2-S6, E2-F6, E2-F8 and E2-M4 cameras. It's so great to see manufacturers working to improve the cameras that they've already sold, instead of leaving users out in the cold after they've handed over their cash.
