This time, I hit the road for a rejuvenating escape from Kolkata, covering 576 km across some stunning landscapes and soulful stops.
We started from Kolkata, cruised through Asansol, attended a wedding reception at Asansol. Next morning we started from Asansol and paused at the serene Maithon Dam, and finally reached the tranquil lap of nature at Garpanchakot.
🏡 Our stay? The WBFDC Forest Rest House at Garpanchakot — nestled amidst hills and greenery, it was the perfect retreat to unwind.
🌊 Maithon’s calm waters, the rustic charm of Garpanchakot, and the scenic drive made this trip unforgettable. Every turn had a story, every stop a breath of fresh air.
