듣기에는 편안한 8비트의 락 곡이지만
곡를 뜯어보면 중간중간에 어려운 테크닉들 나오는 곡입니다.
취미분들은 연주하기 다소 까다로울수 있는 곡중 하나입니다.
이 곡의 드럼 녹음은 제가 가장 존경하는 드러머인 'Steve Smith'님이 연주한 곡입니다.
Journey의 첫 내한공연 2017년 때 실제 연주하는 모습을 보게 되었는데요.
해외 유명 드러머들의 클리닉과 공연은 가급적 시간을 내서 빠짐없이 보곤 하는데 제가 지금까지 봤었던 드러머들중에는 가장 완벽한 연주를 보여줬던걸로 기억합니다.
내한 공연 당시 시작1시간 이후부터 드러머 몸이 풀리더니 그 이후부터는 환상적인 연주를 보여줬습니다.^^너무 잘쳐서 외계인처럼 보였습니다.

내한 공연 직전까지 Journey 팀에서 드러머 활동했던 'Deen Castronovo'의 불미스러운 사건으로 인해 급하게 원년 멤버인'Steve Smith'가 합류를 하게 되었습니다.
'Deen Castronovo'의 드러밍 또한 너무 좋아하는 연주라 기대를 많이 했었지만 그와는 또다른 감동을 준 'Steve Smith' 공연으로 기억에 많이 남은 공연이었습니다.

이 곡은 Journey의 대표곡중 하나로 빌보드 싱글차트 8위까지 오른 곡입니다. 곡의 인트로는 다들 한번씩 들어봤을거라 생각합니다.^^

1:09 이런 3연음을 활용한 필인이 곡 전체에 많이 나옵니다.3연음을 충분히 연습하신 후에 곡 과 함께 연주하시길 바라겠습니다.연습이 안된 상태에서 곡을 연주하게 되면 잘못된 타이밍값을 몸에 익히게 됩니다.

2:07 원곡에는 없는 플레이지만 내한 당시 'Steve Smith'가 멋지게 연주했던 릭이라 한번 응용해봤습니다.이런 기본적인 핸드 테크닉이 가장 어려운 부분이라 생각합니다.

2:41 음...이 부분때문에 난이도 별5개 입니다.

3:44 drum solo 가 나오는 부분입니다.이곡에서 가장 까다로운 부분중 하나인데요 메트로놈을 듣고 천천히 연습하시길 추천합니다.
