If you’re new here, romantic ASMR roleplays are a special occasion on this channel - most of what I do are platonic scripts, but now and then we pull out a little romance. To celebrate hitting 5k subscribers, I let everyone vote on who they wanted to smooch the most, and Cordelia was our winner!

Cordelia isn’t the type of character I personally gravitate toward, so I’m always surprised by how often she gets requested and how high she scored in personality polls. But every character is someone’s Best Girl, so I always take care and try to get them just right. I hope if you’ve been eagerly awaiting this one, you’ll feel it was worth the wait!

To be honest, this video tried to kill me. Despite being a simple script, it took twice as long to produce as usual, and I got my very first bee sting in my entire life just before recording. The bad news is it hurt like hell, and I’m a little worried about the audio quality this time around since recording got rushed. The good news is, I now know I am not in fact allergic to bees. (At least I think it was a bee…)

I did try a new method to muffle outside sound while recording, and got to play around with soundscaping a bit, which we all know I love. But since monsters aren’t for everyone, I’ll timestamp the quieter section of the video for you all in the comments.

🎵 Background music: No music today. Fire crackles come free to use from the YouTube Audio Library. Medicinal tin and monster growls recorded by me (Yup, that zombie growl is me!) Various horse noises, wing flaps, swords, and leather rustling gathered around the web, so unfortunately I don’t have a single source to share.
