The S Rank hunt continues, taking us to the sinister depths of the ENE Corp Laboratory.
I was initially not looking forward to this level, due to my first experience with it in Story mode being the most sprawling and labyrinthine layout in the whole game, but revisiting it and only doing the main paths made it actually feel quite easy to do, coupled with the fact that each run only takes about 10 minutes. There were times when I still had to pull up the map to make sure I was going in the right direction though.
The Twins are interesting. First you fight either of them individually as minibosses, then the two of them come together at the end of the stage as the main boss. It makes dodging around their attacks quite scary as both of them can act and attack seperate from the other, but the one upside is that their HP is shared, meaning killing one will also kill the other, so the good ol' usual couple of Fire Ninpo's did the trick.
I skipped over the Elite Squad encounters and getting all of the medals as they're not a strict requirement for S ranks in Arcade mode, although I'll definitely revisit in future and try for a "perfect" run of doing all Elites, all medals and full combo.
