Here's our humble tribute to Bonkuwor Anandiram Das on his 56th death anniversary. Anandiram was a visionary who silently revolutionalised Assamese folk and modern music. After about a 100 years, it is such an emotional feeling for the young artists of the land to be able to pay the homage that was long due. Today, we honor his legacy. The credit of reviving the musical heritage of Anandiram Das through years of research and an adamant love and passion for the music of their homeland Assam goes to two young and immensely talented musical enthusiasts from the state- Mrinmoy Sarmah and Kukil Pratim Saikia.

কবি, সুৰকাৰ, গীতিকাৰ তথা বনগীতৰ জনক বনকোঁৱৰ আনন্দিৰাম দাসে আধুনিক অসমীয়া সংগীতত বনগীত নামেৰে এক বিশেষ প্ৰকাৰৰ গীতৰ সংযোজন ঘটাই এক নতুন ধাৰাৰ সৃষ্টি কৰিছিল। বনগীত লোকগীত নহয়। বিহুগীত তথা আন থলুৱা লোকগীতৰ সুৰৰ সংমিশ্ৰণ ঘটাই, প্ৰকৃতিৰ উপাদানসমূহ যেনে নৈ, পাহাৰ, পশু-পক্ষী আদি লৈ সৃষ্টি কৰা প্ৰায় এশ বছৰ পুৰণি এই বনগীতসমূহ অসমীয়া সংগীতলৈ আনন্দিৰামে উপহাৰ দিয়া এক অমূল্য সম্পদ।
