BANANA HALWA – CHEF DAVE

Recipe
Ground Ingredients:
4 bananas
½ cup coconut milk
½ cup brown sugar
Other Ingredients:
1 tbsp vegan ghee
2-3 tbsp vegan ghee or to taste
A handful cashews (halved)
Cooking method:
1.Blend all the ground ingredients and set aside.
2.Heat a pan and add the vegan ghee, allowing it to melt. Add the cashews and sauté until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3.In the same pan, add the blended mixture and stir until it thickens. Gradually add more vegan ghee until it reaches a dodol-like consistency. Once done, remove and place it on banana leaves. Sprinkle the sautéed cashews on top, and it’s ready to serve!
