Methodology :
1) To capture the flow near the wall of pipe the meshing near wall is made fine. For Turbulent flow CFD Y plus value equal to 1 considered to resolve the flow near wall.
2) As the flow will be symmetric about the axis of the pipe. Only half portion of pipe has been meshed.
3) Using flow parameters first element height calculated and based on this bias factor calculated which is used in ansys meshing. And finally calculated first element height verified.
4) Explored Commands: Edge Sizing, Face Meshing, Named Selection, Turbulence model, XY-plot etc.
5) Velocity profile calculated using CFD and theoretically using 1/7th power law velocity profile, the both results compared and fall between 10% error bar.
