"Patria TRACKX: The Battlefield Monster That Shakes the World and a Powerful European Collaboration"

Finnish defense company Patria unveiled the Patria TRACKX at DSEI UK, a tracked all-terrain vehicle designed to conquer extreme environments such as forests, swamps, and Arctic snow. The TRACKX boasts key features such as Soucy rubber tires, hydropneumatic suspension, amphibious capabilities, and a powerful 269 kW engine, making it a modern solution to replace outdated armored vehicles such as the M113. The vehicle, part of the FAMOUS program funded by the European Defense Fund, will enter mass production in 2027, with the Finnish Army as the initial order. Furthermore, the CAVS (Common Armored Vehicle System) program welcomes the UK and Norway as new members, strengthening European defense collaboration through the development of the Patria 6x6 armored vehicle. The arrival of the TRACKX and the expansion of the CAVS mark a major step in European defense modernization, enhancing mobility, interoperability, and resilience against modern threats.
