This 34-minute documentary was produced in partnership with Naval Reservists of Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship NONSUCH in Edmonton to commemorate the annual Battle of the Atlantic ceremony that took place online on May 2, 2021.
The three-part documentary is grouped into distinct parts:
Part 1: Historical overview featuring archival footage and a 97-year-old Veteran who was a young ASDIC (Sonar) operator tasked with detecting U-Boats.
Part 2: Church Parade with Naming of Lost Canadian Ships.
Part 3: “Did You Know?” with interesting facts about a few ships from the longest campaign during the Second World War: The Battle of the Atlantic.
