Hi everyone. Welcome to my channel.
This is Fuyujizo film. In this episode, I went to Showa Memorial(Kinen) Park in April this year to films of tulips.
This video was supposed to be uploaded in April, but due to various editing difficulties, it was delayed until today.
(*Simply because I am not good at editing flower-related videos. LOL)

National Showa Memorial(Kinen) Park is a national park created as part of a project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Emperor Showa's reign.
National Showa Memorial Park, which opened on October 26, 1983, in the presence of Emperor Showa, has since expanded to its current scale with the construction of a Rainbow Pool, Children's Forest, Japanese Garden, Bonsai Garden, and other facilities one after another.
It is a large park covering a total area of 180 hectares on the site of the former Tachikawa Air Base, which straddled Tachikawa City and Akishima City and was confiscated by the U.S. military after the war.
The park, which straddles Tachikawa and Akishima cities in Tokyo, was planned as a place for various recreational activities in a rich natural environment under the theme of "restoring greenery and improving humanity.
It is also designed to serve as an evacuation site in the event of a major disaster.
Visitors can enjoy nature in all four seasons throughout the year. In addition to residents of the surrounding area, many people from Tokyo and all over Japan gather in the park to enjoy various recreational activities.
The park is divided into various zones, including areas for enjoying nature, exhibitions, cafes and restaurants, campgrounds, and sports. Each area also hosts seasonal events.
In this video, we are shooting inside the "Tulip Garden" area, which can be enjoyed in spring.

Admission is 450 yen for adults and free for junior high school students and younger. (as of July 2022).

This park is really large, and we walked quite a distance from the entrance gate to the tulip area. Moreover, the day I took this video, even though it was April, it was as hot as midsummer, and I remember I was quite exhausted.
Sunflowers are in full bloom this time of year, and there are many other events for children to enjoy.

みなさんこんにちは！冬地蔵フィルムです。
今回は、今年の4月に国営昭和記念公園のチューリップガーデンを撮影しに行った時の動画になります。
本来でしたらこの動画は、4月にアップロードする予定でしたが、色々と編集などが進まず、今日まで遅れてしまいました。
（＊単純に、私が花関連の動画編集に苦手意識があると言うだけです。笑）

国営昭和記念公園は、昭和天皇御在位50年記念事業の一環としてつくられた国営公園です。
戦後米軍が旧立川飛行場を接収した立川市と昭島市の両市にまたがる立川基地跡地の総面積180haにもおよぶ、東京では最大規模の公園です。
東京都立川市・昭島市にまたがって位置し、『緑の回復と人間性の向上』をテーマに、豊かな自然環境の中で多彩なレクリエーション活動の場となるよう計画されました。
また、大規模な災害が発生した場合は、避難場所としての機能を果たすようにも設計されています。
年間を通して、四季折々の自然を楽しむことができ、周辺住民だけでなく、東京都内や全国からたくさんの人が集まり園内の様々なレクリエーションを楽しんでいます。
公園内は、自然を楽しむことができる場所、展示を楽しむ場所、カフェやレストランなどがある場所、キャンプ場やスポーツなどが楽しめる場所など様々なゾーンに分かれており、季節に合わせてそれぞれのエリアでイベントが開催されています。
今回の動画では、春に楽しむことができるチューリップガーデンエリア内を撮影しております。

入園料は、大人が450円、中学生以下の子供は無料となっています。（2022年7月時点。）

この公園は本当に広く、入場ゲートからチューリップエリアまでかなりの距離を歩きました。しかも、この撮影した日は4月だと言うのに真夏のような暑さで、かなり疲労したのを覚えています。
今の時期は、お花はひまわりが見ごろで、他にもお子さんが楽しめるイベントなどもたくさん行われているようです。
