What's up, people! I'm back with another Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark reaction from their 1980 album Organisation (indeed, I forgot if it was '80 or '81 at the beginning of the video), and this time we listen to "Stanlow," a name that sounded familiar in advance so I looked it up to see what I was trying to remember, but as it turns out, the immediate reference I saw is to an oil refinery and related train-station in the UK. I didn't catch enough the lyrics to know if that's what the song was about, but the sonics were well-composed and compelling, so join me for another cool musical journey from early OMD. Cheers!
