Christopher Noel Dorsey, born on September 3, 1980, known by his stage name B.G. (which stands for Baby Gangsta), is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He started making music in 1993 when he signed with Cash Money Records, owned by Birdman, when he was just 12 years old. Dorsey joined Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Turk to form the group Hot Boys in 1997, and they released three successful albums together. Apart from his group work, Dorsey has also released five solo albums for Cash Money, including Chopper City (1996), It's All on U, Vol. 1 (1997), It's All on U, Vol. 2 (1997), Chopper City in the Ghetto (1999), which went platinum, and Checkmate (2000). He left Cash Money in 2001 and started his own record label, Chopper City Records, in the same year.
