Mixed Fruit Jam.
Ingredients:
1 cup of diced apple
1 cup of diced banana
1 cup of pomegranate seeds
1 cup of diced papaya
100g of granulated Palm sugar
3 Spoons of lemon juice
1/4 cup of beetroot for colour
How to Make:
1. Combine all the diced fruits and steam it for 5 minuits.
2. let them cool and grind it as a fine paste
3. Cook the paste over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the fruits become soft and add palm sure & lemon juice the This should take about 10 minutes.
5. Continue to cook the jam over low heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
6. To test if the jam is ready, place a small amount on a chilled plate. If it wrinkles and holds its shape when you push it with your finger.
7. Once the jam reaches your desired consistency, remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
8. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving a small gap at the top. Seal the jars while the jam is still hot.
9. Allow the jars to cool completely before storing them in a cool, dark place. The jam will continue to thicken as it cools.
