hey my OGs, just an fyi—i’m not exactly “back” on YouTube just yet. i’ve been resuming content on Patreon, since i’ll be paying for bills without Chris for the rest of my life, plus the insane medical bills from his hospitalization. i had to.
but i had to do this one here on YouTube. it’s important for my grief to be felt, because Chris will forever live in it. also, keep in mind—this is my first time hearing the song too. i really resonated with this beautiful short film, hence the long reaction.
thank you ahead of time for giving me the space to be heard and seen during my time of immense grief over losing my husband only 5 months ago. thank you for the continued support. thank you for the new support. and thank you for understanding my hiatus while trying to find some kind of footing in this suck-ass new life i never signed up for—a fairly young, childfree widow with no plans to date or remarry. there’s no “chapter 2” for me when Chris was my whole first-edition.
