Ned Flanders is standing at his doorstep, smiling politely in his usual green sweater. But suddenly, his face begins to warp in a strange, almost cartoonishly unsettling way. His iconic thick mustache trembles… then vanishes. His eyes grow rounder, the eyelids droop, and he starts to look unmistakably like Homer. Flanders’ curly brown hair shrinks into Homer’s two little tufts, and his jaw bulges out into that familiar rounded shape.
Within seconds, his cheerful “Okely-dokely!” twists into a grumpy “D’oh!”.
His sweater and yellow collared shirt fade away, replaced by Homer’s simple white short-sleeved shirt. Finally, Flanders — now looking exactly like Homer — glances down at his transformed body and screams in horror:
“Hidely… NO-DIDELY!” 😱
The scene is both hilarious and unnerving: a Homer-Flanders hybrid wobbling around while the neighbors have no idea whether to laugh or run.
