The flicker is due to the refresh rate of the booth. The LED's are monitoring themselves for color and illumination levels 120 times per second. While this is a benefit to the user and ensures the booths accuracy , it is a hindrance to the camera. This flickering is definitely NOT visible to the naked eye. Cameras can pick this up in the same way that they pick up monitor scan lines.
