How to Add a Non-Standard Folder to your OneDrive Sync or Backup Job

If you use the Microsoft OneDrive desktop client app to synchronize your files and folders from your computer to the cloud, you probably noticed that it will only backup your Documents, Pictures, Desktop, Music and Video default Windows folders.
If you want to sync a different folder, then you will need to copy it into one of these default folders. If you create a shortcut to that folder, it will not get copied to your OneDrive online account.
What you can do is create a symbolic link for this custom folder that points to one of the OneDrive default folders and then it will get backed up with the rest of your files.
Here is the sample command from the video.
mklink /D "C:\Users\todds\OneDrive\Documents\Old PC Files" "C:\Old PC Files"
