The chrome ball in the swivel housing on this series Land Rover is in remarkably good condition and I will be able to reuse them as I will the wheel bearings. The brake shoes and springs will of course be replaced. The brake drum causes some issues but once I remember to undo the brake adjuster, it comes off ok. Join me next time when I will be cleaning, painting, and putting back together all the components in this video ready to fit onto the axle of my series 2 land rover. There will be new swivel housing seals, leather gaiters, brake shoes and bearing adjustments to be made.
