Dear Respected People, I am an elderly Rohingya man living in the refugee camps alongside my fellow Rohingya people. As an elder, I would like to send you my warm greetings and share some of the difficulties I have been facing.

Since arriving here in the refugee camp in Bangladesh, I have been suffering from multiple health problems. I am currently dealing with high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease, and a severe ulcer infection. These illnesses have made my daily life very difficult.

One year after arriving here, I was also diagnosed with tuberculosis. Thankfully, after receiving proper treatment, I recovered. However, I still need daily medications for my blood pressure, ulcer, breathing problems, and asthma. Whenever I experience fever or other symptoms, I also require additional medicines.

As someone who is sick, I need regular access to various medications to manage my health. When I can take the necessary medicines, I feel better, and I am even able to pray (perform Namaz). Previously, we used to receive more medical support and medicines from the hospitals, but now that support has reduced. Meanwhile, the number of sick people in the camp is increasing.

Therefore, we humbly request you, dear ladies and gentlemen, to kindly support us with the essential medicines we need. With your help, we hope to live a healthier and more dignified life in the future.
