In this video, I have discussed a details discussion on a very important reagent for selective oxidation of primary, secondary and tertiary allylic alcohol to the corresponding carbonyl compounds. The Cr6+ got reduced to Cr3+ during this oxidation process. I have discussed the mechanism for preparation of PCC during this reaction I have also discussed many selective organic transformation related examples in this video.
