Transwave is the groundbreaking French band formed in 1994 by Psytrance icons Christof Drouillet (known as Absolum) and Frédéric Holyszewski (known as Deedrah). Their colorful, hypnotic, and yet melodic sound gained massive global success in the 90.

'Phototropic' is Transwave's second LP, and some say it's their best work. It's a beautifully complex and deep album that left a true mark on the psychedelic trance genre. Its musical innovation and the fact it's recorded in the mid 90 are mind-blowing. "Land of Freedom" is one of the greatest Psytrance-goa anthems ever written. But in the context of this album, it is one of 10 great tracks that assemble a true masterpiece.
