Many biodegradable materials such as polyvinyl alcohol or polycaprolactone can be electrospun to obtain biodegradable membranes. The obtained biodegradable membranes can provide antimicrobial properties and enhanced wound healing by integrated biologically active components. Silver nano composites, bacteriophages and antimicrobial enzymes offer new opportunities and alternatives to antibiotics. Together with partners we develop customized materials for specific use cases.
