In this video we take an audio walkthrough of Altonville Mine Tours which is a scare maze at Alton Towers's Scarefest event.
The Altonville Mines are reopening for a third year in 2018, with this live action horror maze having been awarded Best Halloween Scare Attraction at ScareCON 2016. Guests are invited on a tour into depths of the mine as they uncover the legend of the Skin Snatchers once more.
A family of inbred hillbillies who have been outcast due to their hideous disfigurements and warped way of life are believed to now live in Altonville Mines. Through their desperation they have begun to capture townsfolk, before removing their skin and stitching it into their own in the hope that this may finally give them the beauty they so desire – beauty is only skin deep after all.
