Kitten FAQ

Q: Can I adopt these kittens?
A: Yes! Once they’re at least 8 weeks old and have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and cleared by a vet, they’ll be ready for adoption. Learn more: https://cuteavalanche.com/adopt

Q: What is a bottle baby kitten?
A: A kitten under 4 weeks old who needs to be hand-fed every 2–3 hours because they no longer have their mom to nurse from.

Q: Where are these kittens located?
A: Los Angeles, California — fostered through Kitten Rescue LA.

Q: What is kitten season?
A: The time of year (spring–fall) when shelters see a surge of kittens born outdoors, often without moms.

Q: How do you bottle feed a kitten?
A: With special kitten formula (never cow’s milk) and a tiny bottle, every few hours — including overnight!

A: To raise awareness for fostering, show the daily care kittens need, and help more cats find homes.
