Ever wanted to restore an old model that you built years ago ?
Or maybe you found a very rare model on the internet but you think its far to bad to try and do anything with.
I know I did several times in the past. Then I picked up a trick that was posted in a forum I once belonged to, and found it was relatively easy once you know how.
I have picked up 3 rare Frog kits in the past and done this very thing..
A Dh-110,Supermarine Scimitar and E.E. P1, two of which are in this video.
This particular model was my dads, as was the Phantom, Hunter ,Spitfire, B-36 an B-52 that feature in the video. All of which were broken or in need of repair/restoration.
He passed away about 20 years ago so this model is older than that. Probably more like 30 to 40 years old.
All his 550 or so models came to me and most were sold but I kept this one.
Maybe for YouTube greatness...Ha Ha
