Reiko's Growth Spurt Overload! - Ch 3

Driven to grow more, Reiko experiments with her ability by testing it on the tallest person in the room, the teacher… She gets approached by the godess again…

OnaniNapkin Ramblings:
I had a lot of thoughts while writing and making the visuals of RGSO, and self reflecting how I unconciously relate to characters and scenes in the final product. It feels kind of haughty and pretentious to write so much about my own story but I really want to express these thoughts and I’m the only one who’s gonna do it. So I’ll keep writing my thoughts in the description but it’s your choice to read them.

Also just wanted to say, the beginning is somewhat slow, lot’s of setup on the mechanics of growth. But the story and growth picks up in the next few chapters.

This is the only time Reiko will fail in her growth, every chapter afterwards she does succeed in growing, just to quell anyones worries. I think making her fail at least once will make it more impressive if and how she grows in the following chapters. I hyped up every following growth scene by implying she will have to do something as extreme as cutting her finger to grow, but not really lol. But the sentiment of having the strength and resolve to grow still rings true. This will be a very painful road for Reiko to take, she will have to follow strict rules, not rely on anyone but herself, think of creative plans, all for the sake of growing.

One other thing, the source of Chloe’s name… that’s setup for a possible future story. Chloe’s growth spurt overload baybeeeee. Well I’m still thinking about what it’s even going to be about and if it will ever exist but it might. It really just came about because I wanted to put in an andrewsonggod reference and I thought it would be meaningless if I didn’t call the godess Chloe but it sounded like a human name so theres the backstory. I find Chloe’s admiration for humans and Reiko in particular interesting too, how Reiko is this intelligent, ambitious, power-hungry girl who will do anything to get what she wants.
