Junior Cycle Science - The Atom & Predicting Atoms in Compounds

This #SaturdaySession with Conor will cover the atom. Throughout the session, a detailed description of the structure of the atom will be given, with particular emphasis given to protons, neutrons and electrons. The bohr structure of the atom will be detailed before bohr models of atoms are constructed with the help of the periodic table.

Finally, a simple technique will be described to help you to predict the number of atoms in chemical bonds. Examination questions will be completed throughout so you can see how to achieve as many marks as possible in the final Junior Cycle exam.
