I would say the game is at platinum state. Very impressive for a beta imo.
Don't mind the laggy frames, I am very positive that it's due to lack of memory on my part. With just Guild Wars running, I have 350MB free memory. It pretty much speaks for itself. ffmpeg eats the rest.
My specs are:
Q6600 3Ghz (OC)
3GB RAM
Radeon HD 5700
Arch Linux 64-bit
Wine 1.5.2
The only issue I know of, is the game downloader which crashes every 10.000 files. So it takes a bit longer to download the game.
