Robotic lawn mower

Been trialing this Husqvarna 450X lawn mower for a month. It’s done a great job mowing my lawn now have had it installed to mow my entire lawn. It can mow up to 5,000m2, my lawn’s about 3,000m2.

I wire has been put in the ground to create a boundary. This stops the mower going next door and down the street. It has a code and a tracking device so if it gets nicked you can follow it.

It mows all day and all night. It returns to the charging station when it’s running flat.
Yes it’s battery operated like a Tesla.
But it looks like the Bat mobile.
I’ve called mine “Batman”.

There’s no grass clippings like a normal lawn mower because it cuts your grass so often.
The clippings are tiny, so they go back into the soil, to add compost and nutrients.
Your grass grows greener with less water.

Thatching isn’t a problem because the lawn gets mowed so often. Your lawn always looks like it’s just been mown.

Sometimes it does get stuck. Mine gets stuck about once a week. Easy fix.
Punch in code, gets it going.
You can see where it is on your phone, there’s an App that lets you watch it.
You can return it to base if the weather turns ugly.

It does go through the blades.
They last about 2 months. It’s mowing 24/7.
They cost about $20.00. They are tiny.

Yes it doesn’t mow while it’s charging.
It takes about 45 mins.

When it mows at night the lights come on.
It’s so quiet you won’t hear it.
But if your buying this to save time, you’ll spend more time watching it than it takes to mow your lawn. It’s addictive.
