Mr. Emmanuel Wepukhulu Biara, an aspiring candidate for MP in Bulambuli County, Bulambuli District, urged the government to assist in building a museum and cultural institution in Bugisu.
Speaking in an interview with Bugisu intellectual at Mutoto cultural site during the launch of Imbalu 2024, Biara emphasized the need to move past unnecessary conflicts and focus on uniting and developing the region.
He highlighted the lack of high-ranking officials, such as permanent secretaries and commissioners, in Bugisu and stressed the importance of promoting local crops, including coffee, to boost development in Masabaland.
