Glover Quin grew up in Summit, Mississippi, and he graduated from North Pike High School as a four-year letterman in football and basketball. He earned his BBA from Anderson while he also played football for the Lobos and was a three-year starter as cornerback. As a senior, Glover was selected as a first team All Mountain West Conference player. He was also voted MVP by his teammates – the first cornerback in Lobo history to receive this award.
After graduating from UNM in 2008, Glover joined the National Football League. He enjoyed a 10-year NFL career as a defensive player, with the Houston Texans and later the Detroit Lions, in cornerback, strong safety and free safety positions.
Glover and his wife Gladys have three sons and they live in Houston, Texas. There he owns GQ Frames, providing custom framing solutions. He has also been an active philanthropist since playing with the Texans, supporting the Ronald McDonald House and the Boys and Girls Club in Houston. While in Detroit, he worked with numerous organizations including the Ms. Molly Foundation raising funds to help victims of domestic violence, and Camp Kesem, an organization that helps kids dealing with a parent with cancer. During his NFL career he received the NFLPA Community MVP for his involvement and work in the community.
