Replacement Squawk & Talk Sound Board #11: Flash Gordon

This early version of my replacement Squawk & Talk sound board is shown in a borrowed Flash Gordon pinball machine. I show the features of this board as well as how the optional relays can power external lighting modifications. I then go on to play a game. With my board, the background sound is not turned off momentarily when a sound or voice is playing. The background sound plays all the time. This works great with the Flash Gordon 15 second bonus rounds - much better than the stock board. With this video, I have the Sound Merge DIP switch 1 off. In this mode, new sounds stop previous ones from playing. This is how the stock S&T board works.

Flash Gordon game logic is obtained by selecting Game Title 2 from DIP switches 7-10. (OFF ON OFF OFF)

Sounds are WAV files on a MicroSD card. You can customize the sounds if you want. You can have up to 8 different sound sets (banks).
