Arua Park is located at Kampala's central business district, a transport and commercial hub for trans-border trade between Uganda, DR Congo and South Sudan.
While at Arua Park in the little spaces available, you can enjoy local dishes from Arua such as
smoked fish in groundnut past, millet bread (kalo), chicken, goat's meat, sweet potatoes and cassava.
Side dishes include finely chopped greens (osubi) prepared with groundnut sauce and rock
salt. Vendors, makeshift restaurants are scattered in the limited spaces available.
Plenty of snacks like chapatis, roasted groundnuts, and dough nuts are available. You will see
women mingling millet bread. You will see youth are enjoying loud music and chatting.
