Sophia/Susan Huang or Huang Qishan is a Chinese recording artist with an incredibly powerful and versatile voice. She is capable of singing in multiple musical styles including pop, jazz, soul, gospel, R&B and rock. Some titles given to her include "China's Whitney Houston" and "Asia's Number 1 Female Voice".
Despite her rare vocal talents and more than 27 years in the music industry, she was extremely unknown in her home country and only achieved success and fame after attending a musical show "I Am A Singer" last year. Her performance caused an internet sensation that led to her almost-overnight popularity.
Although she is already over the age of 45 when she gained success, she is still capable of belting up to Bb5 consistently, and some times even reaching up to a C6 using her mixed voice. Most of the clips here are after her resurgence in 2013 with a few clips from her earlier years.
