During their mid-90s heyday, Outahand played with several prominent bands of the era such as AFI, Good Riddance, No Use for a Name, D.R.I., Ten Foot Pole, Voodoo Glow Skulls, SNFU, Schleprock, Bouncing Souls, Rhythm Collision, and 7 Seconds throughout the nardcore-adjacent California Central Coast area (Ventura to King City)
Blazing through 15 songs in under 25 minutes and taking cues from the likes of RKL, MDC, Murphy’s Law, and early No Use For a Name, Outahand forged their own brand of mayhem alongside fellow Orcutt/Santa Maria area punk/hardcore bands ISW (In Spite of the World), Drunk in Public, APB, For Instance, Good As Dead, and Missing 23rd.
